TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

· 30% non-refundable deposit upon booking.

· Payment in full is required 6 weeks prior to arrival .

· If booking is within six weeks of arrival, then payment is required in full at the time of booking.

· Cancellation ~ no refund of full-balance monies unless the house is re-let, you must notify us in writing, at the very earliest opportunity. We recommend you have your own insurance.

 

The refurbishing of Aurora has been a huge project for us and we have devoted much time and energy into refitting, furnishing and decorating the building for your enjoyment. Please be kind enough to observe the following;

· Please take proper and reasonable care of Aurora; the furniture, pictures, fittings and effects; please leave them in the same state of repair and condition, and in the same clean and tidy condition, at the end of the rental period, as at the beginning.

· Do notify us immediately of any breakages and damages. You are legally bound to reimburse Aurora Holiday Homes for any replacement, repair or cleaning costs on demand.

· Please observe some simple house rules;

· Strictly no smoking.

· We regret we are unable to accept any pets, except guide dogs.

· Arrival between 4 pm - 6 pm, (day of arrival), and departure by 10 am please, (day of departure). (We really need the time to clean and prepare thoroughly; either for your arrival, or for that of our next guests).

· No outdoor shoes/boots indoors.

· Cycles to remain outside.

· Please be environmentally friendly; switch off lights and only heat when required, recycle bottles/paper etc. where possible, and save water.   There are recycling bins for bottles, tins and batteries next to the shop.

· Don't leave lit candles unattended.

· Please be sensible regarding the stairs, balcony and windows - it is strongly recommended children are not allowed to play on them.  And watch you don't bump your head when looking through the upstairs velux windows.

· Observe the countryside code outdoors.

· All linen and towels are included in the price.

· If staying for a two week period, or more, then a change of towels and/or linen is available. Cleaning can also be arranged.

· All heating oil and electricity are included in the price.

· A cot, a high chair and a changing mat are available FREE of charge, please do book in advance.

· Aurora Holiday Homes and its owners, are not liable to you or any third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury expense or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or is in any way connected with the rental of the building.

· The number of persons occupying the house must not exceed that as stipulated in the brochure or on the website. The house must be used for personal and domestic purposes only, and not for any commercial use; (without prior, written consent from Aurora Holiday Homes).

 

· Right of entry is reserved at all reasonable times for the purpose of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs and maintenance.

 

· If the house becomes unavailable or unusable, for whatever reason prior to the date of your booking, then our obligation to you is this; a) to endeavour to find you a suitable alternative property, or, failing that, b) to reimburse you for any monies paid.

Aurora Holiday Homes reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party, or to terminate the stay, without refund, if any of these conditions are not complied with. 

 

Every effort has been made to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.  However we know we can't always be 100% perfect - please let us know immediately any problems encountered or any suggestions for improvement.
